A cycle path that doesn’t exist yet

– Flensburg – Neu Duvenstedt –

88.3km

… Which I actually want to drive. The 50 km that Googlemaps spit out for me last night would be a nice quiet change, with time to look at Flensburg and possibly. Schleswig. But the chaos starts early.

“When I’m so high in the north, I can cross the border,” I think to myself. That’s fine, but I can’t get to the proof photo. But the way back is somewhat difficult. The bike paths in Denmark are well signposted, but you should also be able to read and understand them. Unfortunately, my Danish is limited.

Anyway, I somehow got back to Flensburg in the city center. I think without a bike and with better weather and at best accompaniment it could be really nice there. From there is also the photo above, the whole region makes a lot of the former Wickinger time.

After lunch, my little odyssey continues. First to find the bike path, and then to follow it. The fact that the signs and the signposts point in different directions seems strange to me. But at a lake it gets really funny. Until it is clear at some point that this is a footpath – the bike path is just planned and it is actually the pilgrimage route i follow. So from now on trust the mobile phone again.

Difficult. Even if the SH is so mountainous, it is not displayed. On a weekend I would laugh at the hills, but with 20kg of luggage and from yesterday too many kilometers in the legs. Add to that the weather. Wet cold, windy, too warm for the rains, but too cold to make the T-shirt wet.

There are many snails. I think I’ve never seen so many nudibranchs in my whole life as I have seen in one day today. That is simply too much.

Now I lie in my tent, on the nature experience room Kollonistenhof, and hope that I can actually bivouac here. Unfortunately, there is no sign like yesterday. Just the Internet.
