19. August, friendly and unfriendly people

Today was a weird day. In the morning I didn’t get out of bed, at noon I was able to do a great shopping, in the evening we met all the unfriendly people and were really lucky in the end.

But from the beginning. Before the onset of drizzle, the tent was jammed and our usual breakfast almost swallowed up. After that Hannah had to drive me again and again, because today I had my hanger.

Continue to lunch. I was really lucky at an Aldi. There was both real bread and real cheese! Hard to hold after days of melted cheese on white bread… Our breaks were then out of town in field entrances.

When we both didn’t like it anymore, we asked the mobile phone again for the next campsite. A huge part, not far from the sea, they certainly still have something free. Pustekuchen. The reception was not staffed and the security guard sent us away, because everything was full. After that it started to rain. How fitting…

So the search continues. In this corner there is a whole bunch of campsites, in theory. And possibly. There is someone like the man who poured his flowers behind London.

No there. The campsites are all either completely full or take no tents at all, only caravans and fixed mobile homes. And finally, hidden in a backyard, we find a tiny place where someone has cancelled at short notice and therefore there is still room. A huge stone has fallen from our hearts. It’s half past eight, it’s raining, and we finally have a place to sleep.

Then there is the misfortune. While Hannah discovered a stitch and just wanted to wash off the cream, I went to the toilet and locked myself. Afterwards we were just too starved to operate the door – well. I was out again after 10 min. And the man from above helped us to do that, too.

The food – rice with other curry powder – was in the tent. To be able to crawl directly into the sleeping bag to fall asleep. Tomorrow we will continue.
